Venezuelan/Uruguayan M.1900 (Mauser M. 1871/84) Bayonet - 11.75" blade (measured from hilt), 16.75" OAL. This bayonet is very similar to Belgian M.1889 Mauser bayonet, as it was manufactured by FN (or its sub-contractor), but it was ordered by Venezuela for German Mauser M.1871/84 rifles. This is a variation with a quillon removed (many bayonets of this type had quillon removed by South American arsenals). No maker's marks. Complete with black painted steel scabbard. These bayonets were imported from Venezuela in 1980-s along with Mauser M.1871/84 rifles. Some collectors believe that this type of bayonet was also used by Uruguay. This bayonet will also fit M.1888 Commission rifle.

CONDITION: Fine. Blade is in excellent, unused and unsharpened condition, with no rust and still coated with grease. Scabbard is free of any dents and has all of the black finish. Wooden grips are in very good condition with some dings and handling marks. Rating a B for it's age. $85 Venezuelan Bayonet Pics
